We can take that further. Self driving cars will be good when they figure it out. Most of the driving I do on a day to day basis is just boring. Why would I want to do that when the machine I’m sitting in can do it safer and better? 90% of the time I spend in a car is time I hate spending on that activity. Let me lean

I love animals too, but I will at least attempt to harm or kill any animal (Or human for that matter) that attacks me or my loved ones and I will feel good about it. I’d get the warm fuzzies every time I thought back at that morning when I broke the neck of a bobcat that attacked my wife by throwing it across the lawn.

Models like these aren’t about impressive photos. Small scale clay models are still better than renderings if you want to see how the shape actually works from every angle and different lights. It may even be cheaper tbh.

“I will believe any ‘truth’, but deny all scientific facts.”

I never really thought they left them in the desert. I bet that would’ve been very illegal. I didn’t think they kept everything for the whole journey and put the cars back together at the end of it. Clearly they did though.

Those early mechanical Bosch systems can be a bitch to deal with if they don’t work indeed. I’m sure it was a ton of fun though! Was yours a 2-door or a 4-door?

Quite a few of them ended up here though.

... they found it down there.

There weren’t a whole lot of parts left on it though.

I know, right? How aren’t Caterham dune buggys a thing already?

I didn’t even know there was a Audi Fox GTi and my weakness for Audis of that era is strong ever since my dad had an Audi 100 5E in the 80's.

I kinda prefer the TG specials over the regular episodes to be honest. The TG specials are all infinitely more entertaining and memorable than their regular episodes. The only regular episode I can recall is S1E2 where Clarkson drifted a Bentley Turbo S around the track and the only reason I remember that one is

I’m glad I wasn’t the only one to have that thought. Shit, that was 14 years ago? Seems just like yesterday.

So the car goes in that lane towards a designated parking lot in case of system failure? What if said system failure fails to recognize that there’s been an accident and its designated lane is blocked by wrecks and or people? Hopefully that’s where the signal posts comes into play (Which shouldn’t be posts, just

Kei to the city” isn’t really all that car geeky tbh. They do a lot of non car related stuff on that road trip, which is what it is: A road trip movie. You should give it a shot! Specially if you liked their off road adventure.

Marty’s bed is not electric, it’s hydraulic ran by the PTO. The one they saw in Japan some time ago was electric though. Their off road adventure was pretty damn decent though, definitely worth a watch.

Nobody’s impressed by a 14 year old luxury car. Cars like these only fill their intended role of showing off how much money you got when they’re brand spanking new. That’s pretty much the whole reason why luxury cars depreciate so hard. No rich people buy a used one and they need to drop down enough for average people

It’s how they don’t quite understand that no matter who wins, the senate stays pretty much the same as the votes are close and at the end of the day the president just signs the papers they bring him. That’s all he’s there for. Sure he can veto shit, but I dare him to do that even once and see what happens.

More often than not the crank windows in a car that’s sat in a wet forest for 30 years is only thing left working. That is anecdotal though and also a slight bit of hyperbole. I am not worried about the motor failing, that is and always was, a remote possibility. But it’s a possibility. Wiring breaks are not uncommon

I didn’t fix it, I replaced it with a pulley from a car without AC and removed the locked up AC compressor. The oil that lubricates the AC compressor is in the gas. If the gas leaks out, the compressor WILL fail as the oil wont go where it needs to go any more. I’d rather not have the manufacturer put something fairly
