We have names. If you were so inclined finding them in the Aurora area shouldn’t present too much of a challenge.

Right of way still doesn’t mean “blow through blind intersections doing 55". I have more than once hit my brakes to avoid crashing with/getting crashed into by someone someone who ignored red lights and yields.
It’s not really about the wallet. It’s about the car. I like it and it has a lot of sentimental value to me.
I thought stop signs were like height restrictions. “11foot8? I don’t see any cops around, just drive!”
Who even cares about that? If you blow through an obviously blind intersection at 55mph I’d struggle to feel sorry for you when you inevitably crash.
Deer very rarely come alone. One of those lessons you learn quickly if you travel on roads frequented by these animals. If you see one crossing the road a few hundred yards down the road, just slow down. There’s a pretty decent chance there’s gonna be more of them.
Without my first pet’s name they wont get anywhere.
All true, but that doesn’t take away from the performance they’re able to squeeze out of them. They’re the grippiest cars on the planet and they pull it off with tall tires and tiny rims.
It’s all looks. I feel like any rim bigger than what I need to clear the brakes is a waste of comfort and money for a very minor gain in responsiveness (Not grip). Bigger brakes is the one and only reason I can think to justify bigger rims.
F1 cars seem to have quite a bit of grip despite their tall tires and 13 inch rims. Good enough there, good enough for me.
Most times I’m so happy I have chlorine allergy. I can’t even go within 50 yards of a swimming pool. It only sucks when the hotel I’m staying at have their spa right next to it and I can’t go there either.
The parts bin thing can go both ways though. My friends BMW 750 had its gear selector sensor go bad and started looking for other, hopefully cheaper, cars that shared the same transmission when he was quoted a price for that item. Sure enough other cars used that transmission too! Unfortunately those other cars were…
I don’t actually see anything complicated here. Refreshingly simple actually. Distributor, fuel rails, injectors and intake runners. There doesn’t even appear to be any vacuum lines hidden under there.
*Doesn’t always work...
We can just put our mouse in free scroll mode, or just slide down on our phones and get down here in a jiffy. It’s not like there are interesting angles of a minivan. It’s a type of car one needs, not a car one wants.
technically automatics now deliver better ms and better acceleration.
I’m guessing the fuel pump wouldn’t run so they could take a fuel sample in that location if they did?
I used to be a mechanic and making mistakes were part of the deal to be honest. Some times threads are destroyed, bolts snapped etc. Time consuming, but not the end of the world. Never as disastrous as this article or the one you linked, but we made damn sure the owner was compensated/not charged for the extra time…
Any time I did inspections on cars and discovered some sort of damage underneath a car a man came in with, scraping from bottoming out, broken plastic covers, dents in the floor panels or rockers etc. it was always the wife’s fault. Without exception. “Yeah, my wife must’ve done that”. If hired help was more common…
Yeah, you can tell all the sheet metal is exactly the same. It’s just been given a Russian Icon makeover and I suppose a few luxuries.
