I don’t know. Is it a generalization? How can you honestly care about the environment and buy a car with the interior space of a hatchback with weight of a full size sedan? I tend to be among the people to bash trucks though. Or rather the people that only use 1/10th of their potential 360 days of the year. There are

You can fill a pretty deep hole with that many dollar bills.

BaT evolved though. It used to be a site to find weird project cars for a good price. Once upon a time you’d need the trailer to transport your project car home. Now you bring the trailer to avoid adding miles to the pristine collector car you overpaid for.

He who dies with the most toys wins. This is not the road to victory.

It’s not rare by any measure regardless of the market it was supposed to serve. They made damn near 18.000 examples of the damn thing. Lots of cars you see every day sold less than that.

Most boomers and x-ers created offspring. They have inheritance. That is the money we’re seeing getting spent here. Even back in the x-ers days the median house cost less than two median yearly incomes. It’s 3-4 times that now.

Think about all the various really really nice cars you could get for less.

Yep, that simple! It’s not like the people saying this have been getting huge breaks both in regards to educational and career opportunities.

Their government is no longer in severe debt and the average Jean Pierre makes a lot more money than they did before.

Since when do rich people suffer during a depression? It’s only a depression for the ones that don’t have money. Every cent we loose during times like these ends up in their pockets.

The fact that one could drive this legally on the street is one of the things that makes American car culture so great.

What your car emits is far less relevant than her statement tbh. You cannot claim to care about the environment and drive an SUV or CUV. That’s a first class oxymoron.

VW’s 1.4T has to be among the worst engines I’v ever driven tbh. Almost no power and basically only an on/off switch for a gas pedal (VW Polo). Except you never knew what throttle input or RPM would turn it on, the turbo just suddenly spooled up and let loose every ounce of power it could muster up.

So what I don’t understand is how a customer could have filled their gasoline car with diesel in the first place.

Oh lovely, someone in a mall crawler CUV claimed to care about the environment? CRV? Get a Civic. More efficient, same interior space.

Yeah, and after a few weeks of that your car will smell like an old tractor inside for the rest of its life.

Most companies do this. Even FiatChrysler pays (Very little) taxes in the Netherlands since that’s where they chose to place their headquarters. So when they are asking for government funding, asking the US government probably isn’t their best course of action. They’ll produce wherever it makes the most sense to do so,

Another victim of the board of directors only looking for next weeks profits rather than a sustainable business model.

Don’t even bother man. There are way too many misinformed people making lazy ass assumptions around to make your effort worth it. Let them stew in their lack of information. Who cares?

Right, so I am wrong in assuming you’d be a hard boiled mass murderer and a thieving asshole if you weren’t gonna be put in jail for it? But everyone else would be, right?
