Gosh, I hope they’ve got some engineers to think about these things. You should let them know before they run through the whole $35 million without hearing your concerns.

The East End Boys are just trying to entice West End Girls to their deadend world.

Framing this as “rich person math” is a little unnecessarily prejudicial. These are all routine activates for any successful small business. If a reasonably successful local auto-shop made a similar purchase no one would call it a “rich person thing”, just a painfully routine business investment.

Here’s the part you’re missing: it literally is his business. His job is to interview interesting people on the grid. If they don’t want to talk to him, that’s fine, but it is literally his job to try.

Except she wasn’t really a guest, she was working, shilling for Cashapp, one of RBs sponsors.

I wish you people would quit saying he demanded that she perform.  He lightheartedly asked her to rap to break the ice.   What altered video did you guys watch?

Yeah, I wouldn’t expect it to come from someone involved, they have too much at stake. But someone at school who hates the kid? Someone who hates the parents? Random person on the periphery who wants to get famous for 15 seconds, or stir up shit anonymously? Or someone not even close enough to be “on the periphery”, w

Are you ok? Do your adult caregivers know where to find you?

They’re both off the clock, don’t be a dick and demand they work right the hell now

Yep, fair point. Jumped the gun a bit :)

Work on reading. My entire comment is criticizing Jalopnik’s coverage of F1. The entire second paragraph are the premises of articles Jalopnik has recently written about F1. I believe it’s Elizabeth herself who wrote about how F1 is losing talent to Indy.

Did you even watch? It was a pretty lighthearted attempt at an icebreaker.. He didn’t DEMAND. This is a dumb take.

<The guy demanded she perform impromptu, racing-themed freestyle.>

The guy demanded she perform impromptu, racing-themed freestyle.

He didn’t demand, he asked, somewhat jokingly.

Except when she laughed him off he moved on to ask who she supported. It’s not like he kept nagging her about it.

I could honestly do without the grid walk interviews, but at the same time, if you’re asked to be apart of the ceremony and you are out there, let the guy do his job.

Just so we’re clear: it’s Megan Thee Stallion’s bodyguards who were being snobbish, elitist, and ignorant here, not Martin Brundle.

That’s just wrong. I’m from a rural area and I don’t know anyone Republican or Democrat who thinks this wasn’t assault with a deadly weapon. Nobody thinks this is a youthful indiscretion. He deserves significant jail time.

This is not the kind of thing people cry “cancel culture” over.
