My sister’s ex-husband used to over-the-wall for Dave Marcis many beers ago when pit crews were weekend warriors and not always a traveling unit across the entire season. I know he was always at Pocono, but there were a few other races annually that I can’t remember, as well.

I’ve never changed my screen name but nice try.

OK, so the top says Jan 1, 2020-Dec 31, 2020, so there’s no mistake, this is a full year’s pay, so 39,472 would represent the final paid amount based off of a 52-week average. The worker also claims that he’s worked there for 10 years, so it’s safe to assume it’s not a partial year.

This is frustrating because they probably dont make 60-70k but the picture shows 39k in wages and another 4k in retirement cash and a cutoff colored line on the bottom that is probably the next section. This person clearly made over the 40k claimed in the tweet but we don’t know the actual number.

That 40k doesn’t address how much time the employee actually worked. Actually, it gives almost no real details.

Then reading that Twitter stuff, they are complaining that pay stubs aren’t provided and they have to - oh no - go online to get their pay stub. Yeah, that’s pretty standard boys and girls...it has been many

They turned down a 6% raise?  Because of how profitable the company was over the last year?  Hmmmm.  More power to ‘em, I ain’t gonna hate.  But I’d love to get a 6% raise for 2022; mine will probably be 3% like it always is.

If you’re not familiar with the labor movement, crossing a picket line is generally considered in poor taste.

Southwest has been struggling for months with a very thin workforce and their employees are stressed from so much overtime. Then they drop a vaccine mandate and it rubs some pilots the wrong way. It doesn’t take too many well-placed sick calls to cause a cascade failure. Was it a planned conspiracy? Who knows? Was it

Beat it into the heads of these goddamn idiots that vote for asshats like this guy.

Even if it were then the union still couldn’t talk about it.

Cruz and all of Congress aren’t being made to get the shit or lose their job. Cruz had a choice and he chose what he thought was best for him. He’s only supporting that he thinks everyone should have the same right.

I think bicycle. Time to be on the other side of the coal roll

FICO scores do nothing to perpetuate a wealth gap. People spending money that they don’t have perpetuates the wealth gap.

Ok, I will bite.

Counterpoint: If you are able to get an 84 month loan at ZERO FUCKING PERCENT, YOU’RE A MATHEMATICALLY INGORANT FOOL NOT TO TAKE IT.

At 0% its not bad, but the article does a poor job of explaining that 0% isn’t for everyone.

Given that a pit stop costs 2.5 seconds for most teams

Ok, I’m coming into this having heard of the situation for the first time. I don’t watch Amouranth, and microphone licking streams sound gross to me.

I take it you didn’t quite read far enough to get to the point where that was literally discussed in the article?

This article literally goes into some detail of this situation, including her response.
