No, people being terrible is. Religion used as an excuse is an example of being terrible.

I’m pretty sure they aren't letting her as they've arrested and charged her.

No, people abusing religion, confusing “faith in God” with doing mammothly stupid shit to test God’s faith in them, is a poison on humanity.

As a practicing Christian (and Ohioan), may I first say sorry for both of these things on this person’s behalf. We’re not all like this. Unfortunately, those of us trying real hard not being ignorant, bigoted crazy people don’t make the news.

Seems reasonable as long as there is still some enforcement. A tail light out might not warrant a stop, but it should trigger a ticket in the mail. Offer the chance to waive a penalty if the owner gets the light fixed within 14 days. If they ignore the ticket then next time a cop spots them they get pulled over.

Letting the little crimes slide always works out well for the general public. (See San Francisco and NYC for recent examples.)

“Faith” is a funny way to spell “Meth.”

A whole lot of shitty internet atheists using this obviously mentally ill woman to justify their general anti-religious bigotry. So that’s cool.

So edgy.

Fully schizophrenic people can be religious, too, huh?

Naw, she was suicidal and I hope her kid gets to live with someone else.

This seems less like ‘God, take the wheel’ than ‘God, take the blame’.

Woman: “I have faith in God, He won’t let me crash”

I read Chuck’s input more as a “please leave me out of this” kind of take.

I value the opinion of Leclerc more than any other. He was right there and he is an F1 driver. I have driven on track, but club racing and F1 are apples and planets.  I can’t imagine doing what Max or Lewis did, but I also can’t imagine having millions of people debating something I did over the weekend.

I’m a bit late to the party but here you go

Find it kinda low of people calling it just a racing incident.

yes, very appropriate. from a driver that sadly died on the track and the commentator mentioning all the accidents he is causing. how many RedBulls has Hamilton punted off now, 3 in the last 3 years.
