This. Ferrari is not going to accept being mid-pack long term, nor will its fans. Compromising a chance to reset its performance under the new rules doesn’t make sense when catching Merc or Red Bull isn’t realistic this year.

zactly. They are not going to spend time/effort fighting over 3/4 in the constructors championships so it makes sense to invest heavily into the next set of rules.

That’s exactly what they should be doing. Remember there’s a spending cap in place now so every euro that they spend in this year’s car, is an euro that they don’t spend on next year’s car.

I just pray that next year, we don’t have the same status quo that we’ve had for the last 7 years.  If that means that the Scud throws in the towel NOW, in order to have a top car for next year?  SO BE IT!

I’m not reading buzzfeed for a reason. I probably should apply that same lesson to Jalopnik.

This is on par with the “I retired at 30 by cutting a Starbucks habit” articles.

It’s very apparent that she’s using her “influencer status” to actually get these trades. I doubt a lot of people would be willing to make these trades in day-to-day life.

Bill’s reasoning is sound, and yet, personally, I would never hit a woman. Sure, I’m sexist. Sure, I’m a chauvinist dinosaur. But my Nana will rise up out of her grave and hand me my ass if I ever break that rule. It’s just easier to walk away.

i see two pieces of excrement in that video.  she’s obviously a super cunt.  him though, even when provoked you can’t hit a woman.  them’s the rules.  everyone knows them.

you jump in feet first, with your feet angled at about 45 degrees instead of pointed straight down. it makes your legs sweep forward in the water and your upper body follows right along till you are traveling parallel with the surface.

Circus-stunt shallow divers go in flat to maximize deceleration. They know what they are doing and I assume they also don’t spare the “core” exercises!

A belly flop into 30 feet of water could be fatal under the wrong circumstances. Anybody who has ever belly flopped from a normal “high dive” (typically 9 feet) can attest that even at that height it will knock the wind out of you and incapacitate. Definitely not the right tactic.

I’ve jumped 30 feet into about 8-10 feet of water. At that depth, you hit the bottom, but not with a ton of force. At 5 feet, you’d certainly feel it, but it’s enough water to avoid serious injury provided you land just right.

Oh obviously! Look at how much you would have lost investing in indexing funds since their inception:

Stop trying to make autonowashing happen, Gretchen.  It’s not going to happen.

Not buying stocks via an index fund is one of the dumbest financial decisions you can make. That’s how you’ll still be going out there to “earn it” during your retirement. Powerball doesn’t have a 100+ year track record of generating 7-10% returns averaged over decades. The trope about stocks = gambling is pure

ffs everyone from the founder of Doge Coin to Musk himself posit that it’s not a pump and dump sceme or really a “real” investment, it’s a meme. And anyone doesn’t treat it as such ends up loosing their shit over its movements.

Right? This article is such a pessimistic hit piece.
