Max had about 3 or 4 laps worth more tread than Hamilton at the first pit stop. Even though he was running fastest laps they brought him in right after Hamilton. By lap 45, Max was at under 10% tread on his second set. Coming in 3 laps early on the first tire change cost him the race.

Make it a Pro-Am or Pro-Minor. The F1 Driver’s Standing is averaged with an F2 driver or a retired driver running a pre-hybrid car.

My problem with Jalopnik and its merry circus of Stan commentors is that it is not being transparent about its articles on Tesla. Is it because it gets page views? I think Jalopnik goes after Tesla and GM because of Union issues. These writers are very pro-union and are not being forthright about why so many negative…

So then why so much coverage by Jalopnik when they were writing multiple articles blaming Tesla for the crash,  but when a report comes out that may exonerate Tesla the story gets buried on the proverbial back page?

I don't like Elon Musk, but I dislike dishonest "journalism" even more. I am a journalism "stan". Not a Musk fan.

The risk of the parachute roll, much like the “mermaid” curve up when diving head first is if you are in shallow water where even an experienced person can end up shooting towards rock or coral and doing some serious body damage. Particularly if not accustomed to jumping in water

Landing “butt first” can result in serious spine damage. You could also end up going in awkwardly and striking part of your head. No belly flops.

The off season rule change to weaken Mercedes did not result in unintended collateral damage to Aston. I think the other teams knowingly and strategically gotten their revenge on the last year’s Pink Mercedes shenanigans.
