Yeah, my 2013 Jetta TDI has urea. I’m absolutely unconcerned about this whole issue. It’s a simple software patch to begin with, and I’ve been enjoying fantastic fuel mileage.
I’ve seen that on a lot of cars. Check for a drain hole under the tire; it might be clogged. I think the water gets in there to begin with because of moisture that naturally seeps into the car (humidity, a little rain water with an open door, and windows going up and down, etc). Dropped $600 at a fancy restaurant in Chicago for a special dinner.

I think driving an electric car at 30,000 miles per year makes a lot of sense in a city with obscenely high fuel costs, assuming the time it takes to recharge and the limited range aren’t a factor.
My VW TDi was $3,000 more compared to a gas engine, but I love getting 47mpg while cruising at 80mph on the highway in…
Aw yes... Mustangs... the fastest grocery-getter.
Every new innovation is bridged with a hybrid solution until the technology within that new innovation becomes better and more affordable to consumers.
Just short of this car being in Need for Speed / Gran Turismo (or whatever) on PlayStation... never understood why anyone thinks its special... so, I’m with the mechanic on this one: meh.
