That vet sounds awful. A kitty living in that much streas does not have much quality of life left. I would get a second opinion from another vet.

Obviously you do not work with animals. I mean for fucks sake, that dog may not have liked getting a needle, but that's fucking better than him slowly dying from the agony of his wounds. Euthanasia means 'a good death' something we all have the right to.
