I am genuinely baffled by the positive reactions to the One Piece trailer. Do you guys really think this looks good??

But 666 is in line with the whole Hell/Diablo theme. Acti-blizz clearly just wanted to increase player immersion with their terrible nickel and diming battlepass.
Why would anyone pay money for cosmetics in a game where the character sprites are so small you can barely tell what color your pants are?
For many popular games, the full cost of the battle pass can be earned back by completing the battle pass. And those games are free-to-play.
I can tell I’m an old when all I did was play the game start to finish and then put it down to go do other things without even touching the battle pass.
For a second I thought that first pic was Rock & Rule
It’s definitely much different than the large majority of battle passes. Much less of a value.
For me it was the content, but the animation definitely doesn’t help…
I hate any game currency that dosen’t let you buy the exact amount you need for an item. The packs are always these odd fucking amounts so you always will have a little bit left over that you can’t do shit with.
I can’t stress enough how hard that animation killed any and all excitement I could feel for FLCL: Grunge.
It’s really impressive how they already had a freemium mobile grindfest version of Diablo and the AAA one they’re charging $70 for is even worse than the free one.
“Seasonal content” and “storefronts” replacing expansion packs and actual new levels etc. is the dumbest thing in the world. The new campaign is a few reskins and stat changes plus some new dialogue, disguising hundreds of cosmetic nothings that cost real money. People are morons for paying for that.
Who could have foreseen this outcome?
Considering the original was just a bunch of “I’m 12 and this is deep” nonsense that hit solely because most of us were neck deep in pubescent angst and confusion and it absolutely doesn’t hold up once you take your nostalgia-goggles off, I agree.
Distillaception.
The Dark Knight Rises is easily Nolan’s laziest film.
What always sticks in my head is way back when Kotaku's sister site Gizmodo would always claim that they were "bloggers" whenever they were called out on their lack of journalistic standards or criticized for doing something stupid. But suddenly they were "journalists" whenever they wanted to sound important, or act…
As an actual journalist (with training! And union membership and looming deadlines and everything!), you’re right. The problem with this piece isn’t some silly shit about women players.
For the record, I think that women being on the FC 24 Ultimate Team is fine. I support it. I just don’t believe that the outrage cited in this article is actually a lot of people, because the article didn’t share any evidence of it.
People complain on Reddit about everything. This is not a story. I miss when Kotaku wasn’t clickbait.
