That’s the thing I don’t get here. Ok, if someone like Ash doesn’t want to pay 60 or even 30 for a game, I get that, but why hamstring yourself to a lesser experience (resolution or frame rate), less hard drive space for the game pass games, and not able to get games you did like from trying them on game pass when

I didn’t say personal friends, I was talking about people I’ve chatted with at work about it. Very few people I work with I’d generally call more than acquaintances.

This. It’s the “social media bubble” thing at work. People in their “gamer” social media bubbles all think the game is shit/broken etc.

At least a dozen “casual” gamers (IE, the type not to care/squabble over things like frame rates) at work and a few friends. In addition to that (but less important IMO), handfuls of people on forums and social media.

Again, I’m sorry, this game is NOT broken. Does it not run optimally on a base system, sure. Most of the big bugs were squashed in the first few patches and it even runs better now.

The Xbox One S is the same as the base Xbox, they just gave it a new model/redesign when they planned the X to differentiate between them. So they ARE talking about the base version.

That’s the thing, Cyberpunk 2077 is mostly also known for meme graphics (specifically the sometimes not loading in textures/higher quality models). The other complaint about Unity was the framerates at launch. Same with CP2077. The few MAJOR bugs (yes, I know it still has other Bethesda-like bugs) that the game had at

I’m sorry, but the Cyberpunk hate dogpile is getting out of hand. Yes the base PS4 version isn’t the best it could have been, but it was NOT so bad it needed to get pulled off the PSN store. They didn’t pull Assassin’s Creed Unity or Fallout 76 and both were MUCH worse off. Not to mention Tony Hawk 5.

Stupid question, you've tried getting in both sides right? Because it won't let you get in on the wrong side of the car...

But... It does have a warning...

This gives me an opportunity to sound off on something that pissed me off the other day when it comes to DLC actually. I was playing Yakuza Like a Dragon and decided to check out their DLC and it’s AWFUL... The LEAST offensive one was 5 bucks for 2 new job classes. While that already offended me, because it seems less

WE didn’t get used to it, meaning *I* sure as hell haven’t. The only thing I buy that might be considered DLC is expansions, and even then I either have to REALLY like the game (Control) that I’d buy a small expansion, or it’s a lot of content (Ala the classic PC expansion packs) and might as well be it’s own game

They also replaced the Kamurocho Don Quixote with a police station... I wonder if they had a falling out with them or someone didn’t want to pay the asking fee for them to be in the game anymore... :(

A KIDS JRPG? What? You seemingly know nothing of the Xenoblade series if you think it slides right in beside something like Pokemon...

THIS... I keep hearing people complain about those cartoons not being there, and while I sometimes thought a short with one of them was actually good, they usually felt like filler to get to the good stuff. I too am glad they are not there.

Agreed. Honestly, at this rate, I’d rather let them shit out the digital copy and release the physical 3 months later and I’d wait for that.

Yeah, as much as I think the Xbox SeX looks better and it being more powerful, I’ll be buying most games on the PS5 because they insist on a full build actually being on the disc (even though they’re usually buggy thanks to all the console makers allowing Day 1 patches all the time).

This shit, is why you can pry physical discs from my cold dead hands.

Thank god... I thought I was the only one.

I feel like I’d need new glasses after playing this for long.
