It’s amazing that Raiders is considered a 2600 classic but ET is the worst game of all time. I never understood that.

God, I wish I’d had a Vectrex as a kid, that system is STILL awesome and could only have been more amazing in the release era.

I’ve always hated the argument that ET was some abysmal POS but Raiders of the Lost Ark was a masterpiece... They’re basically the same convoluted game (because they were developed by the same person)

Steam already had a worthy competitor who was CONSUMER friendly, GOG.

The shame about KoF XIV is gameplay was great and the art wasn’t actually that bad. IMO it fit the Neo Geo KoF’s non-anime style sprite work just fine. It just screenshotted poorly as hell and looked so much better in movement, especially after the patch.

People like to pretend that the Nintendo Seal of Quality was about Quality but it was about Nintendo getting their cut. Just because Nintendo claimed it was about quality does not make it so. There are plenty of forgotten broken ass or extremely terrible games on the NES. Or even a non game like Taboo that no doubt…

Perfect? I somehow doubt this, the Xbone and PS4 versions had little stutters and the sounds were off, I have a hard time to believe they cleared up all these issues and fixed the sound emulation for the Switch release...
