I LOVE Creme de la Mer - mainly the thick version. It is the only cream I have ever used that has kept my skin decent. When I worked at Bloomingdales whenever there was a double associate discount, I RAN to that counter to buy the medium size jar. And asked for as many sample sized ones I could get.

I have a “friend” who has a toddler that she did not vaccinate. She JUST had a baby, and brought her home. I fear for those kids. They live in NJ, and I am not sure what the laws are about schooling, but I find it sickening that she would expose her newborn.

Honestly, I didn’t think that was the reason since she said her size is a 6/8. Other actresses the same size usually have issues as well unless she is buying off the rack. But it sounds like she wants something high end/custom, not mass market.

Custom. Is she going to pay for it? Usually the designers either loan a current runway sample (w/ adjustments) or something from their archive - also a sample size. And that is for ready to wear as well. The designers want the advertising, yes - but they don’t have her size to loan.

Well, yes. A simple dress could be done. But then it really isn’t couture and i am pretty sure she is not interested in wearing ready to wear. Especially for the awards shows.

So......Making a custom dress for her would be ridiculously expensive and time consuming. Most dresses loaned out to actresses are from the runway and altered to fit them. These couture/fashion houses can’t just whip up a couture dress in no time. They can take hundreds of hours.
