Smart lady!
ARBY’S!!!!
Lady fingers (the desert).
This isn’t technically a kitchen accident, but when I was younger and recently out of college, I worked at a restaurant in downtown Burlington, VT. We used to put small votive candles in little glass holders on the tables at night, and when the candles burned down to the nub we replaced them.
Glenn Close?
Because you can bring home the bacon, fry it up in a pan! And never, never, never let you forget You’re a Man!
“Nasty girl”
Right? I think that’s part of the reason she kept looking out of the elevator - to see why the doors are not closing. Is there someone outside pushing the button? That’s usually why an elevator’s doors don’t close for such a long time.
Not true. I’ve heard this a million times and it’s baloney. Punctuation and grammar are 100% still taught at public schools. Every single aspect of them. This is the kind of things aging parents and grandparents pass around to make themselves feel better about getting old. “Kids these days!”
I’m pretty sure I remember Jessica Alba mentioning she wore one after one of her pregancies and getting slammed for it or something.
When you state that my friends experience is “bullshit” and something older people think to make themselves “feel better”, you betcha I take is as an attack. How else should I take it? You are saying that what I wrote (which was an actual conversation) is bullshit.
Like guac?
Are you calling me a liar? Or my teacher friend? Because that is fucked up.
Yup. Super pissed. Physical therapy was torture too... thanks for your sympathy!
Depends.
ME TOO!!! And I ended up having surgery. Finger went right back to not straight.
Nope. They homeschool.
They barely teach punctuation and grammar at school anymore. It’s all about testing, and how to take the test. My friend is a teacher and she taught two testing grades. They spent the whole year learning that. She told me that it was more important that the kids express their ideas and not HOW they do it as long as…
Well. She def doesn't need the money....
