He DID have help. Even KARL has a team of designers below him who make his ideas come to fruition. He reviews the samples, makes changes, and then has ANOTHER sample made.

He is buying things he likes and retinkering them. He is changing the materials (maybe) and colors (again, maybe) and has a team of actual designers and technicians doing the actual work.

EXACTLY! I was thinking to myself, if he REALLY wanted to learn, he should talk to Rick Owens. He obviously likes his aesthetic and this collection shows that (among many others).
