I once tried to take my cat out of my apartment door to meet a toddler in the hallway ( he liked to peek outside, and occasionally stick his top half out the door, so I figured it would be fine) and he promptly started crying and then peed on me out of fear.
That is a great story, really. And I can't say that maybe, I have missed opportunities.... but I have no tolerance for lateness. It stems from my father, who really put the fear into me as a small child about being late.
