Well, she showed up, got into the costume and makeup and shot the scene(s). She did the work, it’s not up to her what directors or editors do with it.

“I wish I could say I have a clear understanding of [the White House strategy]. They do a lot of talking in code with me.”

Sure, but that’s in Metric!

The civil suit court ruling said that any money (total amount $33 million dollars) that OJ Simpson makes while gainfully employed is supposed to go directly 100% or partially to Mr. Fred Goldman and family for the death of his son Ron Goldman that Simpson is responsible for but never accused of doing or was convicted

And the best thing is there’s no customer service rep, sitting on hold with a call center, it’s usually a 60 second online cancellation process (sure, some can get a little tedious, one service had like 4 or 5 “Are you sure?” confirmations ...).

They also were crooked as hell, and demanded payment from all sorts of people. The men who started the Knights Templar were monks and made billions in today’s money. This was a snark piece from an ignorant writer.

Man is this an exhausting topic. So before anything else, of course this is a conservative attack issue. There are about 9 or so transathletes at the moment active in US collegiate sports and I don’t think there are that many more on a high level internationally. This is a remarkably closed loop issue that only

If your bar for danger is dissenting opinions then no place is safe so long as it's occupied by anyone who thinks.

I also think we need to listen to the lived experience of female athletes who have competed with transwomen and not kneejerk dismiss any concerns as transphobia or terfdom. It is worrying to me how there can be no challenging whatever the party line is on trans issue, a party line that has changed rapidly in the last

It’s not transphobic to question the fairness of trans women competing against biological women. That’s called critical thinking or debate. It’s not inherently transphobic to have questions about something. Saying that is just a method to shut down meaningful debate.

I just gave you the citation. How thick are you?

I don’t remember where I read about a proposed solution to have weight/height classes in sports similar to boxing and wrestling, such that it wouldn’t matter what someone’s gender is - if they fit into class A or B or whatever, they’re competing with others with similar physical builds.

While this is an excellent way for transphobes to find a way to be exclusionary towards trans people - is the argument that people who go through a male puberty would have an unfair advantage in female sports so outlandish?

Set aside conservative bad faith reaction and I think the reality is that for each sport it has to be different and that over time the facts on the ground may evolve.

It seems disingenuous to say that this is simply an attack on trans athletes and that it’s not about protecting fair competition for female athletes when there is no one pushing for banning trans men from competition. If it were just about oppressing trans people there would be blanket bans, not only bans based on

Why are there separate women’s divisions in sports in the first place?

That’d imply standards and training and we can’t have that
