Like, nah dude, the bridesmaids don’t need your opinions about what we should wear. Go sit down somewhere.

Well that’s just DISGUS...oh...ejection

There is no greater evidence of something being untrue than Harold Reynolds claiming it from the booth.

Let’s talk about the egotistical umpire who practically begged tulo to breathe, just so he had a reason to eject him. What douchebaggery.

GOD MURDER VICTIMS ARE SO MUCH LUCKIER THAN RAPE VICTIMS, AM I RIGHT?

Don’t use words unless you know what they mean.

Murder, like any violent crime, victimised more than just the direct recipient of the act. The spouse, child or parent of a murder victim is left traumatised for life by their loss and the manner of it. So yes, the casual and gratuitous depiction of murder is just as serious as the casual and gratuitous depiction of

Not to be that guy, but I’m pretty sure the friends and families of every murder victim would disagree with you.

LOL - This is one of the stupidest things anyone has ever written. Want about victims of attempted murder or other severe violence? Of the people who know a victim of murder?

Nothing. But then they come complain about it on the internet despite supposedly not watching it. If you aren’t watching it, shut up about it. Barely anyone cares what you are doing, even fewer will care about what you aren’t doing.

as a family member of a murder victim, a friend of someone who has OD’d, and a victim of sexual abuse, I can tell you that all of these things are things we have to deal with when they are depicted in media. How something is used matters more, and if it becomes gratuitous or shallow motivator, then it is an issue, but

Well, it would make you a baby if you complained about a tv show that had a rape scene. Bad things happen in real life, therefore bad things happen on screen. Deal or turn off the tv

I agree with you and with Escobar. I will say: people do survive murder. Just not the murdered: their families and friends now have to survive and its often treated as if they are just not there.

Those movies are barely, BARELY cult movies.

So a few rape scenes are now triggering and cliche, but murder in most episodes of most shows is no problem at all. Maybe we should have trigger warnings so the babies can change channel?

What the Hell even is this comment?

Yes clearly the Nordic countries are doing terribly. I wonder if they view Americans’ dedication to presenting every horrible, racist, xenophobic “counterpoint” as infantile? I sure do.

Not be rich men.

Considering they were paying the “household staff” $100,000/year, calling them “stingy” doesn’t really jive in that context?

The courts will sort it out but a few things strike me as odd, starting with her $97k/yr salary. That had to include some kind of weird “only billionaires even know to ask for this” kind of service. Like, starching and ironing his $100 bills or hand-waxing the private jet.
