To be fair, his show has taken a downturn since moving/recreating itself since moving to CNN. No real depth and spend little time on things. Oh that sucks. Sometimes it's quite clear he isn't hitting the tourist spots, like the Gaza Strip or Myanmar. But then again, there are no tourist spots there.

Bourdain is a sorry soul. I agree with Guy that he has issues. And I’m not even a fan of Guy, really. But, pay special attention. Bourdain attacks those that are more famous than he is, and more successful. That’s an even more telling character trait.

if by avid you mean he trains a couple times a month and gasses out faster then butterbean then by all means sure he’s a real bad ass.

Fieri’s schtick notwithstanding, I hope he punches Bourdain in his face and knocks the pompous fuck out.
