I think most of the men that would go to see cheerleaders compete are doing so for the sexuality of it, put the cheerleaders in baggy sweats or something not designed to accent their bodies and see how many people would pay to see that. But would you pay money to see their amazing technical ability and challenging choreography? The people buying tickets are paying to see a sporting event, not cheerleaders.

Good luck getting people, except for "pervy men", to pay to see it.
