You’re such an idiot you can’t even read. It’s illogical to conclude that because SOME people are successful and overcome difficulties, that EVERYONE can do so no matter their circumstances.

You have no argument against that so you’ve devolved into nonsense and making things up about me.

That is exactly what is being debated. You came on here acting like anyone who doesn’t either have full coverage or savings for a replacement is an idiot. That was your first post in this thread. THAT is what I’m talking about here. I have not said one word about specific people are car prices.

And NO, not ANYONE who

We are going in pointless circles because you refuse to acknowledge reality. And don’t give me this you see it everyday crap, because you don’t even know that many people.

It’s not logical to conclude that because SOME people succeed, EVERYONE can. It’s not logical and it’s not reality. And you also don’t know the

You don’t need anything additional. Again, the fact that SOME people overcome the things you listed DOES NOT PROVE THAT EVERYONE WITH THOSE DISADVANTAGES CAN OVERCOME THEM.

That’s basic logic and reality.

Of course people should buy a car they can afford. Are you even paying attention to what is being said?

The point is, most of those people buying that $1200 care, CANNOT AFFORD FULL COVERAGE OR ANOTHER $1200 IN SAVINGS. So they are not stupid for not having it, they are desperate poor people trying to get by.

Again, the fact that you see SOME people with disadvantages succeed does NOTHING to show that EVERYONE has the means. You are the fucking moron of you can’t understand that basic logic.

Not everyone can afford to have savings, even when they are not buying beer, etc. THAT IS REALITY FOR SOME PEOPLE. Blind stupid fuck.

Responsibility =/= misery. Neither does living within your means.

If you can’t afford it, you shouldn’t buy it.

Some people NEED a CAR to WORK. As in, they will not be employed without one. And no, a bike is not always feasible.

I know handicapped people, physically, mentally, who have made it. So yes, I think anyone can do it.

Either you have insurance cover or savings to cover your loss, or you don’t because you are a poor planner. Seems pretty black and white to me.

Advising people what they need to do in order to avoid a situation where they end up without a car is lacking in empathy? How?

Hence 2 or 3 jobs, saving, roommates, sacrificing, living well below your means, and planning.

Asshole, you plan for contingencies and live under your means precisely because money is a finite resource.

Um, don’t buy a car if you can’t afford to replace it with insurance or with your own funds.

Don’t be an asshole,

You do realize people afford all this and more just by working hard in food service or lawn maintenance or welding or housekeeping, right?

Reality: Not everyone can actually afford those two options.

Again, whenever someone does a #NotAllWhiteWomen they missed the point a POC was trying to make.

Pointing out that something is inaccurate isn’t the same as crying oppression.

Being a POC doesn’t make it ok to make factually inaccurate statements, nor does it mean that everything they said should go unchallenged.

You’d be just as inaccurate as the OP.
