The downside on that is, that the better employers leave the company bc they know how much they are worth and if they’re not getting their worthy raise, they just go somewhere else since for them its easier to find another job.
It might just work for the (under)-average workers though.

but they are the rips offs, since they abuse people in poor countries to produce your cheap stuff
