Thanks for the tip! It’s seems like pizza is the most intense and yet that was the place I was considering starting. Shows what I know, I guess. Also, I’m not wild about the whole “fuzzy” descriptor. Seems like that’d be a weird feeling.

This is also a good suggestion. I’m planning on making some chili this weekend and browning my own ground beef, so maybe I’ll put a little in there. Thanks!

I was wondering if anchovy paste was a good place to start! I’ve heard it’s good for upping the savory factor in a lot of things, so I’m definitely keen to try it because I love me some savory food. Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll pick some up when I go grocery shopping this weekend.

Okay y’all have convinced me. I’m finally feeling brave enough to try anchovies.

Me eating breakfast hungover like:

It’s so immensely fucked up that this man targeted a damn child. (Because you know that’s exactly what he did. He’s a coward who didn’t want to risk a grownup retaliating.) That poor kid.

Fish pate—especially if it’s a nice, smoked fish pate. Both Oreos and smoked fish pate are heavenly on their own and combining to delicious things to make one disgusting, unholy snack seems like it would enhance the terribleness of said snack. You could have enjoyed each one separately but instead chose to desecrate

Our experiences are actually very similar! For me, I wasn’t directly involved in politics because my parents thought I was “too young”, so I mostly only absorbed what they told me. This goes especially for my dad, who had a way of making things sound plausible and rational to my 12-14 year old brain. I was further

They really really didn’t like Trump and told me they “obviously supported LGBTQ+ rights”, but then voted for him or stayed home and said “don’t worry, it can’t be that bad if he wins.” because they held “republican values” (which at this point in reality is basically just terrorizing oppressed and poor people).

I happen to be from one of the moons orbiting Queerulon 6, thank you very much. :P

Right? It’s almost like we’re tired of habitually being depicted as dangerous predators. What’s funny is that in America, this LITERALLY became a thing because of censorship laws.

Aw man now that I know they planned that, I’m really disappointed. I’m not super familiar with the Persona franchise, but that would have been cool. And honestly, internalized homophobia is something a lot of gay teens experience.

AT. ALL.

Am I too gay to read this?

I just think we are all sick and tired of the mocking intellectual that marked the cool alloof man of the 90's, and 00's.

So much this. I know people who love to talk about how they’re “straight but not narrow”* and jump at the chance to be offended on my behalf when some homophobic shit happens, but helped elect Trump and Pence because of some bullshit tax break. Several of them are the same people who told me to simmer down because I

It’s an issue I’ve been sitting on for a while, so I’ve had a lot of time to think about it. :P

You’re walking in the woods

Right? I was like “Cool Wendy. In my mind that means that you don’t know what it means.”

Yeah, can we talk about that? Let’s talk about that.
