Loves it because cute dogs, and pointing out grooming jobs. Hates it because of what the AKC has done to dog breeds, especially German Shepherds, Goldens and Bull Dogs.

That good and handsome friends you have.

Same. My dogs both freaking LOVE fish, but especially the younger one. I was making blackened salmon once when she was a puppy and she was sitting at my feet whining and drooling. It has a lot of health benefits too.

I have two standard poodles sans villain haircut (which is actually a holdover from back when they were hunting dogs!). They are both extremely good girls.

Aren’t they just? It almost drove me crazy at the time, but it’s funny in hindsight. For a while, it seemed like she’d find some way to get whatever it was she was after—even if someone was in the room. Putting things high, out of reach and/or behind other objects wouldn’t stop her, either. I think she was probably

Me using this as further justification to keep drinking a ton of coffee:

They’re both fun activities you can do with your dog that involve a lot of mental and physical stimulation.

People have done it before actually! It looks pretty cute.

Same! There’s something about it that really kicks up the savory factor. I also like using celery salt in place of normal salt when I cook something with a lot of vegetables. It brings out their flavor in an interesting way.

Not only does he drive around in it, he possibly lives in it. Sure he could get an apartment, but he chooses not to. Like if Cody from Step by Step was an anthropomorphic jungle cat who never shuts up about all those touchdowns he scored.

Am I the only one who feels like Tony the Tiger is like, a washed up athlete who could never let go of his glory days? Like, he’s the Uncle Rico of cereal mascots.

I agree. It’s such a flexible spice. I would suggest onion powder and celery salt too. They also have a lot of uses. Old Bay Seasoning is a useful addition if you cook a lot of seafood as well. Especially shrimp.

She’s a treasure—smart, clumsy, active and EXTREMELY mischievous when the mood strikes. It all comes together into one highly amusing package. (One of her favorite tricks for a while would be to pretend someone was at the door so she could steal our food when we went to “answer” it.) The 10 year old narcs on her all

I love the Umami booster idea! I’m going to have to incorporate that into my own pantry.

Agree on all counts. As for canned food, I’m a big fan too. Not just staples like beans and tomatoes, but chowder, chili and soup. They’re good “base” items that you can add stuff to and make taste better. I usually follow these guidelines:

Fellow poodle fan, here. :P My third one is about to turn 2 and the second one is almost 10. My first one lived to be nearly 15. They really are smart, sweet and loving dogs who have a bit of a bad rap because of how they’re depicted in the media.

Surprisingly, it comes from back when standard poodles were water retrievers. (For those who don’t know, they needed a coat thick enough to keep them warm in the cold German water. The problem was they’d get so water logged they’d risk sinking/drowning. So people started shaving away all the hair that wasn’t around

People are assholes.

I love unconventional flavors, too! I once had a jalapeno and coconut ice cream and it was—surprisingly—freaking amazing.
