I agree. It’s such a flexible spice. I would suggest onion powder and celery salt too. They also have a lot of uses. Old Bay Seasoning is a useful addition if you cook a lot of seafood as well. Especially shrimp.

Agree on all counts. As for canned food, I’m a big fan too. Not just staples like beans and tomatoes, but chowder, chili and soup. They’re good “base” items that you can add stuff to and make taste better. I usually follow these guidelines:
