Oh god Hotaru no Haka/Grave of the Fireflies. Right up there with Pan’s Labyrinth for best movie I never want to see again.

That sounds incredible! But then, umeboshi is one of my favorite things. I could eat them by themselves. (In fact, I have!)

On the one hand, I’m really attached to the original character of Poirot, David Suchet did it so perfectly that I almost feel like the recent adaptations (Malkovich, Branagh, etc.) were smart to distance themselves from it in a few ways. I’m willing to bet that there are plenty of people who exhibit symptoms of disordered

Man, stuff like that can wreck you psychologically as well as physically.I’m sorry to hear your mother is experiencing that. I don’t know what caused her to adopt that kind of diet in her early life, but there are so many weird rules and restrictions that we as a society place on people—especially women—when it comes

That sounds unpleasant. :( Hopefully, you can exercise on your own more often or he can finally understand that you don’t find his stance helpful or motivational. I also hope that he isn’t pushing himself so hard that he’s injuring himself because of his mindset.
