Car with AT < Car with MT < Motorcycle
In terms of how much active involvement you have with the machine, and (IMO) how enjoyable it is just to go from A to B on/in it. Also, if you’re inclined to speed, everything feels faster on a motorcycle, so you can end up not speeding at all and get the same feeling from it.

Unless it’s someone shooting at you, a person can absolutely can mitigate the risks. Anyone telling you that you can’t does not know what they are talking about.

It’s not for everybody. I don’t climb mountains. Some people seem to love it. Go figure. A balance of risks and rewards. I go ATGATT and ride very defensively when around traffic and obviously have a lot of experience. Not saying I won’t get taken out someday but the rewards over the years have been incalculable.
