Look, I’m a designer - I’ve been building levels and encounters in games for 20 years - and on this topic of outrage I know three things are absolutely certain:

1. The VAST majority of people complaining about yellow paint are fragile males who crumple at the thought that a designer put that paint there specifically for

Jacen Syndulla has the potential to be very, very important.

Yes. Space is big. You just won’t believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it’s a long way down the road to the chemist’s, but that’s just peanuts to space.

Gonna miss these kids.

Blame Gizmodo, io9 used to be a separate site, but then gizmodo took it over.

So glad they got rid of the masking protocols... oh wait, my younger sister who wore a mask the whole time to try and stay safe came home with (you guessed it), COVID! So some of those fan “winners” are getting their own unexpected surprise gift.

I’m really happy that we got 4 seasons if this show, which has been the best at blending humor and drama/ crazy hi-jinks since Buffy.

I am going to miss this crazy iteration of Nancy Drew. My favorite thing is when various ghosts (the ghost waitress, dead Lucy, the Agleaca) end up joining the team.

Hey, uummm, minor nitpick, is there a reason you avoid talking about Quill, the female protagonist of Moss, in the blurb for the game, and instead name drop 2 unrelated male rodents? Even implying that the protagonist of the game might be male too? The way that paragraph is written feels so weird...

I keep forgetting how badly I want to play Elsinore.

The ending (or Arthur's anyway) of RDR2 destroyed me. More recently, some of the closing moments of Miles Morales really got to me. If something provokes an emotional response like that, it's art, full stop.

Gamers: Games are art!

Others treat it like art by becoming emotional or critiquing it fairly: NO NOT LIKE THAT!!!

Aww yes. Blood Dragon Armor!

While I agree the Mako is perfectly fine the way it is, I’d be okay with some minor calibrations...

Ha, thanks. Honestly, working digitally has helped tremendously. I can easily pull swatches of colors in whatever scheme I’m aiming for and just color pick them, then play around with the hue, saturation, etc. until it’s somewhere I like. Further adjustments are easy to do after the fact assuming you layer everything

That sounds like it could draw heavy inspiration from Kerbal Space Program.

Look up robot arena, great game

fwiw there were some Robot Wars games, but being on the PS2 they’re 90% loading screen.

I’d love to see Person of Interest made into some sort of game. It could have been something like watch dogs potentially.

Roger Rabbit point and click adventure.
