I’ve always been mostly a PC gamer (though I still have my original Gameboy - still works and I still have the original Tetris cartridge). Had an XBox360 for a little while, but never played anything on it, really just used it as a DVD player. When I started my current job, I celebrated by picking up a PS4 and have

I thought by 2006-2007 AIM had the “X is typing” message. I know it wasn’t there when my friends and I used it in the late 90s, but I think it showed up while I was in college.

It’s $5, not sure how much more of a sale you want on it. It is definitely more satisfying than the first, and has a some replay value as you figure out the game’s beats to get a better outcome.

I had seen videos of the first game, saw this was released and only $5 on Steam so I grabbed it the morning of Memorial Day. Between commemorating Sir Roger Moore with a Bond film (For Your Eyes Only), catching up on American Gods, and grilling burgers and dogs, I did 3 complete playthroughs of Emily is Away Too!

Wes Chatham as Amos is incredibly well-casted. I also think that Shoreh Aghdashloo was impeccably cast as Avasarala.

I’m currently listening to book 2 as an audiobook. I’m at chapter 40 out of 57, and I’d say that season 2 covered went to about chapter 30 or so in the book (Bobbie and Chrisjen happening a little later than the Rocinante’s bit).

Mystery Heroes is the mode that keeps bringing me back to the game. It’s a really great way to get a very wide experience of the game without a lot of pressure to perform. If you’re not doing well as a character, you’ll probably die pretty quickly and get someone else to play.

I remember being distracted in several ME3 cutscenes where Shepard pulls out a pistol to threaten or shoot and I wondered where he got that since I usually only carried an assault rifle and sniper rifle.

Have you taken the Nomad onto one of the big ice lakes on Voeld, gotten it going fast, and then turn on agility mode (aka turn off traction control)? So much fun! I wasted so much time doing this!

Especially since Bioware’s founders were doctors and the company originally created medical software.

He probably does what I do (in nearly every game...): When I’m jumping I find I hold down the jump button as if it would make me jump further or higher. So when I accidentally hit Cross to jump instead of Circle and the chocobo doesn’t jump, I just keep holding down the button until it jumps (or I dismount since

It’s a very appropriate screensaver image for this article :-)

I thought it was Shepard that initiated the Andromeda Initiative as a Hail Mary for the Citadel races. She/he funneled resources from the Catalyst project to make it happen.

I kept scrolling down to see if someone shared this one. Thank you.

The entire time you play that level, the only sound you hear is Geralt’s constant shout and whistle.

I should have scrolled down further before making my gray post about the exact same thing :-)

And the city of Istanbul (not Constantinople!) just nods smugly at this article.

That’s Pharah from Overwatch. I was able to track her down for a photo on Thursday.

The one that has really stuck with me has been Daft Punk’s score from Tron: Legacy. Probably the one score from recent years that went through endless playthroughs for me.

There may be similarities. *shrugs* The artstyle in Lost in the Moonlight is gorgeous though.
