Everyone is calling this Bioshock, but 5 hours into the game it’s actually a lot more like Far Cry. Open world with a lot of stuff, a lot of it not compelling, chatty/sarcastic (but one of the WORST in a while) protagonists, and tone that’s all over the place from humor to atmosphere. 

I agree, but blog sites like Kotaku operate on clicks. There’s PLENTY of other games that are worth covering by other smaller devs, but Kotaku veils this article to insult this clown as a reason to post about his game that looks like hot garbage.

If you hadn’t seen it at the time, you have no idea the amount of negativity Wind Waker’s art style got when it was revealed. I was a teenager and forums were toxic(but people seem to be MORE toxic now). Then all of them shut up once it released and they played it, because let’s face it - these clowns will ‘boycott’…

It always seems like the five people boycotting a Pokemon game or have this mindset pop up before release and then “Pokemon Sword/Shield, Legelds, Brilliant Diamond etc are now the best selling in franchise history” headlines shortly after release seems to shut everyone up.
