I’m thinking this ends with her eating a bullet.

Why do I love this story so much? I don’t know. But it sure was entertaining.

Democratic voters sleep on local and off-year elections. This allows gerrymandering. This allows voting districts to be constructed by and for the opposition. This allows the Dems to win 3 million more votes and still lose, a fact that is constantly lost in all of these “the Democrats can’t get enough votes!” screeds.

I understand where you’re coming from, but I don’t think it’s access to information that makes us smart or educated. Walking into a library never made anyone smarter.

I don’t think culture has been dumbed down. A lot more people have a voice and access to information today than they did before the 200s, thanks to the internet and mass media. The dumbness was always there, but it was quieter and had less influence on politics.

I guess to understand it you’d have to look at what happens with Democrats actually in power vs. their stated platform.

Stewart Lee has a great bit about this. It’s about the Conservatives and Labour in the UK but I think it applies equally well here:

Taco Bell reeeallly fucked up when they neglected to put ground beef inside their chicken chalupa shell. Just missed the boat entirely.....

Clearly this is the media showing no respect for a woman who lost her legs during heroic acts in the bowling green massacre

A new character, obviously. I mean, Planescape is a pretty big setting, even if it hasn’t really been touched since second edition D&D. There’s plenty of stuff they can still do with it.

Then crossbranding is the way forward: My Little Morte, Transmodrons, GI Hardheads.

Good thing he didn’t channel Krillin.

Ah there it is. “Cuck”. Get back to class kid. You’re gonna get in trouble running the halls like this.

“Do you know what ‘nein’ means?”

Hell yeah! If this thing had shipped with Super Dodge Ball and River City Ransom, I’d have bought it in a heartbeat!
