Agreed. (Part-time) actor here, and it is way easier to do drama than comedy. Jokes are only funny if they land. You can bring someone to tears with overwrought dialogue/delivery. Even shitty actors can make people cry. If you can’t deliver a joke properly, it instantly sucks the air out of the room.
