Specifically, you’re making the argument that it’s fine for a minority actor to play any role as long as the actor and the role *look* like a minority *to you*.

He carries an Israeli Jericho as his handgun in the show... that’s an incredibly specific point of detail that I always assumed was not accidental.

That doesn’t match my experience. The anime was largely an episodic show with occasional 2 parters or tie backs to the character arcs. There’s no way this should be a serial show. Keep it episodic. The only ongoing backstory should be whatever develops the character. The worst case would be if this turned into a

I haven’t said anything about rioting and criminals. There are plenty of people attending protests of all kinds who might not want their whereabouts published, their data pilfered, or their devices rooted through—especially if they’re swept up and arrested for peacefully protesting.

That said, I’m 97% positive you’re

You should really include a recommendation to turn on automatic cloud backup of some kind for your photos and videos.

I’m not really arguing, but that means you have to question pretty much every generic procedural on TV since they all make a habit of killing off a young, pretty woman before the opening credits.

You can cool it on shitting on a little kid, who for all intents and purposes—even if he wasn’t the intended audience—was right. The first Assassin’s Creed has pityingly little to do outside of the main storyline, which the Devs agreed on, and the game would’ve been criticized for it.

Bebop is mentioned at the top of the article as the show that everyone recommends to newcomers, so I assume it’s the article’s de facto ninth recommendation

An automated process like this better than the old “refund and repurchase”. Most people already wait for a discount for older games so no big change there. For newer games it could be pretty helpful however. Imagine paying full-price for a game three months after release and a few days later they have a 20% discount.

I don’t think  you understand what gaslighting is, or you have no comprehension of the actual Epic vs Steam situation.

Steam rarely abides by their own terms of service. I once requested a refund for a preorder only for them to tell me NO and I had to hunt for the exact wording about refunding preorders for them to finally issue the refund. Also I once bought 3 copies of Amnesia for friends during halloween only for literally the next

Which means a lot people (like myself) probably weren’t aware of it. I’m an old, and that means back in my day if you bought something and then it went on sale, you were SOL. Honestly I assumed that was still the standard. Glad businesses are being a little more considerate to the consumers now.

Steam’s refund policy includes a similar provision. As you can probably tell by the text of the email Boggs shared, however, the Epic Games Store now appears to fully automate this process.

I don’t see any lie in that quote.

How is that gaslighting? Those statements are a balanced and fair summation of the state of play re Steam vs Epic.

he’s not wrong tho

They’re absolutely culpable. People try to differentiate between platform and publisher, but at the end of the day if the platform holder is profiting from something deemed illegal it is their responsibility to remove said item. Even if not technically “illegal,” many times they’ll still remove something if it’s just

It can still be plagiarism if you write a paper with all your own words but no change to the overall structure.

Don’t forget that the ecosystem owners are quietly taking their 30% cut. Ubisoft is right to go after Apple and Google. Think of it this way; Apple and Google are essentially business partners with the infringing party.  It’s like if Target was selling a real name brand and a fake name brand designed to look exactly

He means both TVs are playing with neither one pausing. Walk from one room to the other with their streams syncing constantly.
