outside of the initial ‘lmao boring’ sentiment most of this article isn’t critizing those people who make themselves in a video game. If you’ve got beef, take it up with larian for pointing it out (but don’t). The gist of what i’m saying is ‘wow ok if everyone wants to make themselves, game developers should do their…
LMAO bruh proof you didn’t read that article. My character was not the thumbnail. It’s a tiefling.
Lamenting? I said the CC was pretty good baring some weird specific choices. Beyond that, this article is saying “Wow since everyone’s making characters that look like themselves, maybe we should ensure that everyone has that ability.” Larian’s doing the bashing, not me.
Dumb question, but...why not headphones, if you yourself aren't bothered?
Bingo. Defund the police.

This is actually a real thing, in the original games, the game engine registered the bottom of Crash as flat, meanwhile the new engine does in fact use the exact same dimensions for all of the levels but the bottom of Crash is pill-shaped and thus he is able to slide off and miss more ledges.
Hades gets its gods right by being incredibly hot
I think you nailed the strange hypocrisy on the head. Why would anyone assume that a set of deities shared only the background of the narrow population who worship them, when they allegedly created and support all peoples? But then again, plenty of people still imagine Jesus as the only white guy with blue eyes in the…

single words and common simple phrases should not be trademarkable. Assholes like Monster think they literally own the word and it can’t be used by any product\company ever. Fuck em’, and don’t buy their shitty drinks.
No, trademarks in the US mostly work fine. Trademarks are industry-specific; that’s why there can be a company named Kohler that makes engines and an unrelated company called Kohler that makes toilets.
no, but info for those seeking it ‘tis but a Google away
Elaborate for me. Hi-Rez is definitely a trend chaser, but what is the scam?
If you’d have played Paladins enough, you would know it’s the same case for that game. It’s much more than a “OW copy”, and has a great core gameplay hook, and it’s buggy as hell (although much better now than it was a year ago). The community is hit and miss, not terrible, tho. :P
I agree with the sentiment about basically all of their projects. Smite is the exception though. It’s much more than a “LoL copy”, and since Paragon shut down it’s now the only game of its kind. It’s got such a great core gameplay hook.
This may blow up on Switch since the options are limited.
