Sometimes it’s better to pause and properly synthesize your thoughts rather than instantly writing up a knee-jerk reaction / hot take. It’s what makes an article like this potentially more interesting and worthwhile than the a Youtube video’s (or Kinda blog’s) comment section

Sometimes putting your feelings/thoughts into the right words takes some time. (And possibly other articles, deadlines, events, etc. eat up time that could be used toward writing this piece). This trailer as well as the Sonic movie changes have taught me that the battle cries of “respect creator intent!” and “original artistic vision!” only *really* matter when someone suggests a game have different difficulty modes, or it would be nice if women characters weren’t all strippers.

It would be better if it WERE written by a horn 13 year old! I can understand why a 13 year old would sexualize another 13 year old. I cannot understand why a grown-ass man would do it 

It’s far from my first visual novel. It’s the first I’ve played published on a console that’s been this blatant. 

If Japan could just A, have sexual themes in their games that didn’t feel like they were written by horny 13 year olds and B, stop sexualizing kids and flirting with the pedo audience, I will never say a bad thing about them again.
