It will have mainline pokemon. It will outsell the Wii U easily. People keep forgetting that this isnt just the follow up to the Wii U, its also the follow up to the 3DS. All those games that used to come out on the DS and 3DS are now gonna come out on the Switch, yeah I think its gonna do just fine.

Who carries their 3DS in their pocket? Don’t most put it in a bag?

Honestly, I think the wrong approach to a free to play Pokemon app is to treat it like a full fledged Pokemon game. I get that there’s the hardcore “gotta catch them all” players out there but Pokemon Go is meant to be played casually and on the “Go”, which means walking.

It’s in the actual Pokemon games, not this microtransaction factory.

I don’t mind the meager update, but for two things:

Eh, I’m still having fun. And it’s kind of unfair to fault a walking game for existing in the winter.
