“no hate” ... “sheeple” ...

It is, by 3 tenths. It’s also TEN SECONDS faster than an F12 Berlinetta. :|

Your bolded section doesn’t take away from the original commenter’s point at all.

Talk about exposed - look at that lone seat at the front of that middle aisle... yeesh.

Here’s an open question to anybody in the know: the new 747-8... how does that improve efficiency compared to the 777Xs and the 787? Not enough to save the 747s?

Absolutey, man. I too remember my first experience fying in the nose (first level) of a 747. It was a way-under-booked night flight and there was a peaceful environment on board. I loved seeing the walls slope inward and the seat count diminish as we walked forward - it was really cozy up there.

Well fuck me. They’re certainly the first ones to get free reign on a DB11. Good on them!

Yeah, that was rough.

What kind of cars do you garage/drive?

Sorry I’m an idiot, but will someone explain why the valves are next to the cylinder and opening upwards, instead of over the cylinder and opening downwards?

From 1st to 47th place in the blink of an eye. 23 hours 56 minutes 39 seconds of reliable racing, and BAM! That’s it, baby!

Yeeeeaaah.... but ground clearance is still pretty low. And even at low speeds that vast majority of torque is at the rear. And at mid to high speeds all of it is.

“There are a few people willing to purchase a new 612 for $320,000, but there’s basically nobody out there standing in line to get a “slightly used” one for $280,000.”

45 PSI on the left tires, and 21 PSI on the right. It’s right in the door jam, but you can trust me - there’s no reason to look.

All weather and location stuff is adjusted to get a “corrected” number that can be compared to any other test from any other time that they do. And as for fuel? Maybe somebody fudged up and put 87 in. That car needs 93, if not 91.

Remember, you need to know the provenance of the gasoline in the car. If someone mistakenly put 87-octane in, power’s gonna be down, down, down.

That car could only exist in electric form and doesn’t have the ground clearance to kill an ant. Still nice though.

You may be half-joking. McLaren keeps releasing slightly newer, slightly better, slightly rarer versions of the same car. They’re hurting resale values and alienating customers.
