To my eyes, that game still looks great! Rough around the edges, but way better than you would expect for it’s age.

Terrible cars, but there is a group of us up in Edmonton, Alberta that use these for ice racing and they are a blast. Getting very hard to find here in Canada, and there are not as many options for dirt cheap rwd platforms that are light. Miata’s are quite a bit of work to setup and the cars get banged up pretty good,…
Hmm, right in my hometown, this is very tempting. And you are very likely correct, there have been a lot of toys coming up for sale here due to layoffs. Good time to be buying. Downsides of buying a car from Edmonton are that are roads here are horrible (freeze/thaw), there is usually quite a bit of sand/rocks on the…
Not too bad of a special, found that the banter back and forth was a bit more natural all around between the trio. Will be interesting to see the second part tonight, and how the ending gets presented.
I agree, bring them up to Alberta, we let pretty much anything on the road anyways up here. And they will look great compared to a local car that has seen 10 years of gravel, salt and wickedly bad roads!
Yes, that's one of the things we noticed as well! Also, the throttle linkage opens the secondary with a slight delay, nothing that a spacer couldn't solve. There is a bit of potential in the engine, and the HO header helps (hard to find), but the biggest issue with the Chevette was horrible block quality. The steel…
Yes, we have had to scour the States to find specific HO parts (yes there was a HO Spec motor, offering a few more ponies). The RWD makes for a fun controllable car, and some people use them for rally in the summer. Definitely worth checking out, entry cost for a car with cage was $500, but factor in race license…
We use these for ice racing in a spec class here in Edmonton, mainly due to the fact that they are rear wheel drive and for the most part fairly easy to repair and get back on the track. Realistically they make fun platforms for cheap racing, although it is getting harder and harder to find 2 door parts cars and…
