Juno is closing in on Jupiter’s north pole, affording the spacecraft a sweeping view of the planet and its four largest moons, Io, Europa, Ganymede and Callisto.

I like to think the Jovans (Jupiterians? Jupitites??) are on their planet looking up and will see this probe come into orbit and they all start freaking out and one of the ones in charge will jump up onto a platform with a megaphone about attacking it and that July 4th will no longer be just an American holiday but…

That’s not how gene therapy works. If the therapy isn’t directed straight at your balls or ovaries, then nothing will be inherited by your descendents, since it’s there and only there that any genetic information you pass on resides.
