Firstly, the overall number of bird deaths from utility-grade solar power plants is low (lower than that from fossil fuel plants), and secondly, the mortalities from solar panels is exceedingly low (as opposed to CSO facilities, which merely have low fatalities).

Not nearly as many as fossil fuel power plant operations do as provided in that journal. 9.9 vs 74.2 birds/MW/year.
