I love the idea of bringing back Nancy Drew for a new generation, and Sophia Lillis is perfect casting, but I still can’t figure out why this is a movie. A film franchise seems like a total non-starter. This should be a series.

Right? How could they have left that out of the history? That was actually my introduction to her character in the first place.
He sort of glossed over it when he says she broke off from the Avengers. Her coming back from Marcus, being pissed at the Avengers, and getting her powers and memories stolen by Rogue all happened in the same issue.
Yes, that was a part of the Claremont X-Men phase that the article doesn’t mention (and led to the bit with her getting a new set of powers, which it does).
Pistol Whipped by Death is a great Motorhead song.
The general consensus is positive, if not glowing. But, yeah, it doesn’t really matter where those people are concerned.
Watching this movie could cure cancer and the pissy fanboys would still be pissy.
If Captain Marvel could cure cancer, Pfizer would see to it that it never gets released.
The MCU canonically exists in the Arrowverse. It’s a vicious circle. It goes round and round.
Hating on Air Force movies???
Do they at least get in a Val Kilmer joke in regards to Batman Forever? Lego Movie 2 did! We need to end the Kilmer erasure!
So long as the cat in it is good, I’m there
I’m still holding out for a sequel to The ‘Burbs.
waiting for him to lose his damn eye
People really just need to shut up, turn the phones off and watch a movie that they paid money to see. It’s tiresome.
And you can’t win by choosing the “right” movie either. Mainstream blockbusters have audiences full of people who can’t survive 15 seconds without checking their phones, animated stuff has little kids who need to go to the bathroom every five minutes and keep talking in their “outside voice,” and prestige movies have…
I don’t know... I am just not interested in Captain Marvel. It looks good - it’s not that the movie doesn’t look like loads of fun. And usually if you stick a superhero is any sort of period piece (IE : Sometime other than the present or future) I am a sucker for it. But as is... I only have the patience to deal with…
Can’t be worse or more overpriced than Buffalo Wild Wings, can it?
I’d see the hell out of that!
