Have we had an Aunt Lydia flashback?

The Terry Benedict role is played by Bane.

Seems like Hathaway is sort of playing the role Tess played in 12 or Benedict played in 13, that of the reluctant person needed in order to sell the con.

Could be for promotional purposes only. Trainspotting 2's trailer had a scene of the four main characters on a train platform, but in the actual movie Begby’s not in that scene.

Now playing

Did I say “overlords”? I meant “protectors”.

Understood - it’s an informed decision, good or bad.

Haven’t these kids suffered enough.

It’s true that my comment did not acknowledge that there were Avengers who were not present in Avengers 3.

That’s funny, but to be fair, Matt LeBlanc was the only one of those poor actors who made any effort during that awful film.

Everyone in this film did something dumb. Everyone. Every Avenger had a chance to stop Thanos that they blew.

“It’s a shame that he couldn’t have kept as level a head as Tony Stark did when he found out that Bucky killed his mom.”

It’s a shame they used the exact same plot device as a climactic act in two straight Avengers movies.

That’s my personal problem with what went down.

Speaking of which,

“How you doin’...in outa space!”

Well, I read his (non)apology in his voice and I found myself nodding along in agreement “why yes, of course he wouldn’t intentionally cause discomfort or offence!” even though in reality I know no such thing!

It makes the quotes sound WAY worse.

No shit. I mean, did you want an apology for having your feelings hurt? Then call or write David Cross.

That was the weird part about the Charlene Yi/David Cross thing. I mean, it’s not a stretch that Cross did an insensitive asshole thing... but it just got weird when it was revealed that they were friends to some degree (at least through Amber Tamblyn).

I always eat them feet-first. So they can watch every moment.

Man, I had no idea how seriously people used to take their gingerbread back in the day. Giant, molded bride-and-groom gingerbreads covered in gold leaf as the centerpiece of the medieval wedding.
