I understand every word of this article, but it’s measured and not reactionary so I don’t understand it being on this website. Where’s the outrage? Where’s the update to the story the never publish? Where’s the missing context? I can’t get mad at this, it’s something that’s perfectly reasonable.

A lot of good stuff here. I’m really looking forward to most of these, but I’m most curious about the Chair. I wonder how much is going to be dedicated to scheduling faculty meetings around their teaching, research, writing, and when they don’t just feel like showing up.

Ok, the sub-headline thingy there is misleading in a way I’m tried of.

Just getting out ahead for headline writers:

I don’t know. This, plus the recent press release asking for more delicious seals is starting to seem a little suspect...

Yeah, I realized my mistake just after the 15 minute window. Now my shame is there for the world to see! THE WORLD.

One of the things I liked about the original was that the Looney Tunes and Bill Murray just existed. There was no questioning it. They were just there. I don’t know if I like the over-explaining of why we need to have a professional basketball player is playing basketball against a bunch of aliens with the Roadrunner

Especially when Porky Pig is right there, and has always been the hottest Looney Toon.

Never before have I been so completely wrong about a television series in my entire existence. I thought this was going to be a terrible, terrible show, and it turns out it’s one of the best things on television. It’s Star Trek, but all of the characters are Star Trek fans, and it works.

We’d never find out, because anyone assigned to counting it would give up in horror.

I think it’s proof of what a good filmmaker he is, especially with this. He can take a look at the way people are and rather than boiling them down to “good” or “bad” he sees that every interaction is a complex series of how we need to learn and grow and being good or bad is only the result of whether we grow or stay

Do yourself a favor: DON’T READ THE BOOK. Just... don’t do it.

“I give it my lowest rating ever... 7 thumbs up.”

I loved the Outline Trilogy, I’ve been looking forward to having the time to get to second place.

I had one more theory, since they made it clear that everything was happening BEYOND the end of time.

Honestly it was Emmy worthy stuff. It’s one thing to look cool in the standard “we’re going to make the costume but make it modern edge” it’s another to be 100% accurate to the silver age of comics and we’re going to pull it off.

I’ve been on the “It’s Kang” train, but honestly, now I’m not so sure. I still think this sets up a big bad that’s going to be vexing the Avengers, Young Avengers or whatever, but honestly, at this point I don’t know.

It sounds interesting. From what I’ve seen on Twitter he seems like a generally good guy. He promotes projects, he works for suicide prevention, he gives credit to his actors, and he doesn’t call out a lot of negative people even when they’re trying to blame him for his daughter’s death.

I mean... I’m sure they do now.

I loved Mitchells vs. the Machines. I also really liked Barb and Star. Those were standouts to me. But an enjoyable list.
