I don’t know how anyone can watch this and think of Tom’s actions as good. I see it a lot more like a coming of age tale where he learns his lesson. The “Autumn” joke at the end is a perfect metaphor for the movie itself: He’s learned how to grow up, and he’s most likely going to make better decisions this time

I’m not sure, I have this theory that they’ve been Weekend and Bernie-ing several movie stars for years. It’s a big conspiracy. Goes all the way to the top.

Normally, I’d agree with you, but this is a movie where I felt that at the end, I “got it.” If he had continued too long, and did something more with college, I’d agree. But when the movie ended, just before class started, then I got it. It was about that time just before the next phase starts. It’s about that time

Robocop the Fried Chicken salesman was going to get another movie?

Make the post credits scene Darryl talking about his new roommate who came to him complaining about an old sports injury: Hemidall.

1. A lot of this just sounds like a Richard Linklater film. Which isn’t necessarily bad, but just what we should expect of him.

He has more of an Invisible Touch.

I will only see this if they recast Will Smith with Dan Castellaneta, as is customary on these sorts of things.

It’s my time to shine!

i agree with you 100% that it’s not that simple. And I have some issues with the way this guy is presenting this. it’s all part of a larger conversation.

I think my phrasing was just wrong. My comment on redpill was more a look into how people get radicalized. If someone is abused and then there’s a group that says, “it’s not so bad because this group is worse” or a group that says, “Hey, you’re not alone, that’s how they are” who are you going to side with?

My unpopular food opinion that I fully acknowledge is unpopular, and something that was cemented when I was very young, is that I prefer the McChicken to Chick Fil A.

This is ridiculous. In Genesis it was NOT Adam and Eve.

This wouldn’t have been a problem if he just kept walking off that cliff and didn’t look down.

What kind of wacky adventures will he get into next?

The problem is, if we don’t call out when women can be abusive, we do risk redpilling a lot of people.

I guess this will have to do until I’ve saved up enough to throw real birds at real pigs.

Is it a scene where the main character looks at a comics accurate costume then makes some quip about how it’s terrible looking, then continue fighting crime in a cool hoodie or leather jacket?

Wait until they look up old episodes and find even MORE to be angry about.

I do agree that they need to keep her alive, but I just think there are better ways to do it, especially seeing how they treated other fertile women earlier.
