It’s a tough rope to walk. Reveal too much, and people complain (See: The Doomsday Promo). Don’t reveal enough, and people complain (See: Early Justice League Promos). DC isn’t going to be able to win this battle. I’m glad they’re holding off on it a little.

i didn’t at first, but I’m liking it now that I’m seeing it more. it looks more home-made, which sort of sets him apart from the two warriors, Superman, and Batman. I think it’s sort of establishing him as more of our Point of View character.

Good lord the DCEU Derangement syndrome is off the rails here. We’re criticizing a film being told in flashback and being bookended in modern times? If this is too confusing for you, I urge you to not watch any of the thousands of films that do this.

I have to agree. i was over the notroversy by the time it aired, but it wasn’t the best. It would have been cool if they cast an Asian actor, but I’m not going to keep harping on the fact that they cast a blonde white guy to play a blonde white guy. My wife and I saw the first Defenders trailer and realized we flat…

Step one would be some acknowledgement that they take place in the same universe. Maybe if SHEILD cameoed in some blockbuster film or something.

The point is: no one knows that. They don’t know he’s just a masked vigilante, he hangs out with Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern (who’s not either, but again: no on knows that), the Flash... this isn’t the MCU where everyone is letting their secret identities just hang out all over the place.

I remember. It was back in ye olde days when we used to watch TV Shows and movies before we judged them failures. Fun times.

Because it’s Justice League and websites like this one are trying to push a narrative that comic book movies are dying and using DC Comics to push that agenda since the other company was bought about by Disney. This is further prepping to get you to hate Justice League.
