@TVs_Frank: Yep! The brits actually decided years later to spell it "aluminium" because all other elements at the time had the '-ium' suffix and they felt that it should be consistent.

@Darkcast: Yeah, but that happened in the UK. The news has only just traveled across the Atlantic on ship you know!

@ian.nai: Eh, but when it comes to higher dimensions, the line between mathematics and physics does begin to blur. Though, you're right, I should say "... disservice to physicists and mathematicians everywhere."

What this should be labeled as is "Abstract art" and not anything that remotely has to do with theoretical physics which an interpretation of the 4th dimension implies.

@TheFirstBardo: Well Minkowski space incorporates time as a 4th dimension. It is a temporal dimension, of course, but it is still a dimension.

@Liam loves his Dell Latitude: Actually, it should have been "Her feat was impressive." The joke being that "feat" sounds like "feet" which is a main focus of the article.

Wait, she's still using dial-up?!?

@roxie: Hmm, that could work as an alternative- the problem is that it lacks a commenting system where we can discuss and junk. However to easily transfer files and keep track of everything it would work better than Wave- it's just the lack of a commenting and annotation system that makes it not as useful.

DAMNIT! I just found a use for wave too... Me and my buddy write a lot of music and decided to come together to write an album. Wave makes it much easier than going back and forth via email and it's much more organized.

@tande04: Ahh, didn't realize it was a shared band. Probably because the bandwidth is so small. Funny, too, because I even checked the frequency map to make sure I was right and STILL didn't notice the amateur band there. Heh.

Wait, wtf? 900MHz, IIRC, it allocated specifically to LMR. I know for a fact it's not an amateur band.

@TVs_Frank: Yeah, but how on earth are you going to supply the power needed? Not to mention with that much current going through the rails in a short amount of time you'd probably melt the conductive material lol.

@failtroll_is_fail: Fucking huge. Seriously, it's a retardedly big value. The largest value of the Earth's magnetic field is about 60uT or 0.00006 Teslas. So that field is about 5million times the strength.

@josh6135: well googling what a butt set is would be far more helpful than me explaining using my limited experience with the tool.

@FlawedHero: He means a butt set, but elementary kids don't know the correct term.

@Man_Of_Leisure: In gabrielm's reply? In that case what does it refer to?

@gabrielm: What do you mean those aren't 8-bit? The article you linked to even says 8-bit! 8-bit=256 colors=2^8 colors.
