I mentioned this in the piece: every tournament that’s been under the purview of JeSU has awarded finalists who placed in the money with a license. It’s only an issue with Momochi because he refuses to accept the license due to his qualms with the JeSU system itself.

Well they do have a work around but it creates a private system where a few officials get to decide who is and isn’t allowed to be a professional gamer. And they did try to give him a license so he could claim the full prize, but the guy’s got some strong moral fiber and stuck to his guns.

No problem, just get a tarp to throw over it when you’re not using it.
