Max Dood recently had an interview with a Killer Instinct dev that went a little more in depth on this attitude towards balance. It’s a bit more nuanced than some commenters seem to be giving it credit for and I’d recommend giving it a listen.

Picked up Fire Emblem: Three Houses on my way home from a half-day at work, but then my wedding invitations showed up so now I’m doing those instead of playing Fire Emblem.

Eh, there would have been wiser purchases, but it’s fine. I had the chance to cancel the order and even sober me didn’t see fit to do it. I’m pretty pumped.

I finally caved and bought a switch, so I’ll be keeping my wife awake with the glow of my Switch screen for the next several years while I play through Breath of the Wild. Also picked up Mario Maker 2, which is fun even though I’m GARBAGE at these games. I want to be good, so I’m trying you guys.

Unless it is absolutely not in your budget, I highly doubt you will regret your purchase.

After dipping in to see Screaming Females at a street fest tonight the rest of my weekend is going to be dedicated to Fire Emblem: Three Houses and AC: Odyssey: The Fate of Atlantis: Judgement of Atlantis.

Still trying to decide if I want to buy Fire Emblem or not. Only played the mobile game and enjoyed it, but the waifu stuff made me really uncomfortable. 

Well, I drunk bought a Switch last night. Should be here tomorrow. So probably Breath of the Wild and Ultimate Alliance 3. Yikes.

Fire Emblem, for sure. Plans tonight fell through (no decent showtimes available for “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood”) so tonight I’m gonna sink my teeth into that big boy for probably 5-8 hours.
