Reporter: Do you worry about losing out on the many benefits of playing for Barca?

here comes the sexist trolls! A man complains about poor refereeing and he’s “passionate” but when a woman does it she’s “salty!!” All because “your team” doesn’t make as many points as the “other team” while everyone makes 30 times what a comparable WNBA player makes!!!

Vin Scully isn’t for everybody. That would be socialism.

He’s stating a proven fact.. Not surprised one Vin Scully comment opppsite of Deadspins political agenda causes you to stop kissing his ass like you have all year

queue some privileged explanation about the potential of “true” socialism...

Reminds me of the German women’s football leage. After they had won their first cup in the 70s they each got an ironing board and a china set as bonus.

There is in Japan, though.

“This is a title IX sport and and they’re making up a false investigation”

But will the Prawns vote for Tovo in District 9?

Watched the whole thing, wondering who might be in the depths of hell, and found out it was none of the people I was expecting.

I realize this may be an unpopular opinion, but I don’t see why I should care. Every person is allowed to be racist, sexist, or prejudiced in whatever way they want to be as long as they’re not infringing on anyone else’s rights. Their life will be affected by their choices. Why do I have to care that they’re garbage

“Luke was on a road trip with his baseball team and needed a charger for his laptop. You’ll never guess what happened next.”

Listen, these kids might be fucking racist morons, but its also possible one kid was trying to be edgy and funny and the rest followed suit. Its a fucking group text, they aren’t burning crosses.

I’M SAYIN’

This was not a “crowded” place. It was private text messages. A public university is bound by the 1st Amendment.

But one should expect a reasonable level of privacy when it’s a conversation that wasn’t meant to go outside the involved parties’ devices.

“Respect the unwritten rules of baseball”

‘Much weaker’? How exactly would one quantify that?

Not sure Iniesta’s hand ball warranted a red card. An intentional hand ball is usually a yellow card unless the ball it is heading toward goal. Luis Suarez was red carded in the 2010 World Cup for stopping a goal bound ball with his hand. (Ghana missed the PK). Iniesta, however, handled a pass, not a shot toward goal.
